Then lets not forget about the strange non ending. Probably the most frustrating bit of all was the wild twist at the end. And yes, when you begin to read it, it is quite annoying. Magic, baking, and Prophesies. We have two potential romantic leads and the ending leaves you a bit clueless on that issue. It took me awhile to get used to the writing style for this. The journal style storytelling really isn’t all that different from any of KA’s other 1st person stories, but the entries in the beginning are choppy.
Yes, Mathilda, SuperWitch is written and diary style. As other reviews have stated this book format is different than all of her other books in that it is written in a diary style and follows the sometimes ramblings of Mathilda, The Chosen One. Overall I would not recommend this novel. Kindle Edition , pages. Aug 20, Lady Heather rated it liked it Shelves: I am so glad that I stuck with it! There are TWO heroes with totally opposite personalities, but who are both equally lovable.
Lists with This Book. If you are a KA fan and want something a little different then her norm of writing then Seriex would recommend giving this book a go. I absolutely love KA but I feel a bit disappointed The witches, vampires, werewolves and any other cliche mqthilda entity was not the problem. Sometimes she is funny and sweet but mostly she is annoying. I’d probably love it if it was written in the same style as her other books, but for me, this didn’t flow well enough to grab my attention.
Kristen was raised in a house with a large and multi-generational family. I freaking love the world she created. It ends in a cliffhanger!
After a life devoted to retail and coffee drinks, Mathilda is thrown into the secret world of witches, warlocks, werewolves, vampires, faeries, headless horsemen, you name it, it exists… even whirling dervishes! This feels like it might have matyilda one of her earlier stories as it isn’t as polished as her more recent stories. It certainly has all the wonky characteristics of a KA novel, but it just doesn’t quite get the job done.
Mathilda herself was also quite annoying at times. The writing sty Superwitvh

Now I have to wait for the other book or 2 to get written to find out who Mathilda matilda. It’s funny, exciting, fast paced, and steamy. Starts off in journal form, I believe the editing issues are purposeful to give it that journal feeling. He gave me giggles, butterflies and tears.
I thought the book ended quite well. I worked in Harrods for 2 years and ssries when reading a KA tale I always read about the American places and I love it so it felt really good to hear her describe Harrods and the shopping attitude, made me laugh, I’m Scottish but have spent 16 years in London, I might chat happily in a lift but I’m pure Londoner when navigating streets and shopping!!
There’s a lot of action and a story line that kept me guessing throughout.

There are TWO heroes with totally opposite personalities, but who xuperwitch both equally lovable. I’m just a girl who likes instant gratification and this one book doesn’t deliver Serjes guess I have to wait for the next part to come out to see who Matty chooses Her other books have been awesome and I can’t wait to read her other series.
Oh well I will be waiting It’s been awhile since this book has been out, and she hasn’t said anything about writing the next as far as I have seen. I even think the story was a little interesting although confusing at times. She was inept just like Stephanie but loved to dress and loved expensive things. If you are a KA fan and want something a little dif I was not looking forward to reading this book because someone told me it wasn’t the best KA book, but said I needed to read it since I wanted to be able to say I had read ALL of KA’s books.
The whole Chosen One thing. I seriously need an ending and one that I prefer That’s fine by me bc I like reading about it!
Will Mathilda be able to save the world while still being perfectly accessorized? Seemed like she was trying way too hard for a Bridget Jones vibe in a way that was just not working.
Mathilda, Superwitch Spoilers Possible 53 Aug 08, Needless to say, growing up in a house full of music, clothes and love was a good way to grow up. It was nice to read the same view I had on that place made me feel that bit more connected to the h!! If the second book ever comes out I will read it, more out of curiosity than anything else.
Mathilda, SuperWitch (Mathilda’s Book of Shadows, #1)
I sure hope that the sequel to Mathilda, SuperWitch isn’t too far away. Okay, so I’m a big fan of KA, as you all know. The storyline, for the most part, finished nicely.
If the I hate to say it, but this one was dreadful.
Want to Read saving…. And because not very many people liked this book, KA is not in any hurry to write the next one. I’ve never be Okay, so this is actually really good. So it is the first person point of view of Matilda herself. Now all we have to do is nag her to continue Mathilda’s story! As other reviews have stated this book format is different than all of her other books in that it is written in a diary style and follows the sometimes ramblings of Mathilda, The Chosen One.
I hate to say it, but this one was dreadful.
