Masters Men and Women: As well as the Learn to Row Courses we are also running an additional Taster Day for you to come and have ago in a boat and see what rowing is about before you sign up to one of the courses. Weekdays are then used to increase fitness. Please note the Estimated Regatta Level is not exact and is an indication only. Beating a field of 7 others from across the world they won by 6 tenths of a second.
The vets wins for the second year in a row are level for both men and women! The difference being, juniors only learn sculling whereas adults can learn both sculling and sweep oar rowing.
Junior Entries Please note that as part of our Regatta Welfare Plan, all Junior Crew entries must be submitted with a current and accurate mobile phone number for their coach. We held a primary event for the first time to allow our newcomers the chance of racing at a mainstream regatta. Bewdley Carnival Youth Achievement Trophy — for the outstanding junior This award goes to a crew rather than an individual, this crew of boys have continually won in their 4 this season in whatever combination they have sat in, whether it be racing at junior level or senior level.
The rowing club entered a float into the carnival for which we won 1 st Prize for the Sports Club Category.

This is done in the same format and using the same boats as the adult learn to row course. Bewdley Rowing Club is a club for all types of members not just racing ones, all be it we encourage racing we do try to accommodate everyone.
This is only run one day a week and done in blocks of six sessions.

We accept entries for all sweep oar and sculling events senior, junior and master for men and women. The senior members of the club need to set an example to the new members showing them how to look watcj boats and help if necessary. Last weekend was the Pub and Club Regatta, it was a fantastic day of warm weather and exciting races. Competitive Rowing We have a thriving competitive section of the club being master, senior, novice or junior; both ckub and women all compete at regattas in the summer and heads in the winter.
Most of the juniors won their first race of the round robin format regatta, for some it was their first regatta so they did extremely well. There are three measuring stations shown below, one at Bewdley and two others cluv from Bewdley; these are described below.
There is plenty of room here, the parking charges are far less than the public car parks and it is only 5 minutes from the club. Learn to Row Rachel James has run 4 successful courses this year with various members helping on each course. Regatta Sunday Results. We had quite a good day Saturday with most of the crews getting through to the finals, this continued through to Sunday where we bought home a medal. This year we are running two separate events for men and women.
